Much furrowed brow......

About three weeks ago I went with MBG to the Epworth 'Festival of the Plough'. The centrepiece of the event, rather obviously, was a massive exhibition/competition involving horse-drawn, and mechanical ploughs of all vintages. Competition looked pretty fierce, in a number of categories, and by the end of the day, there were acres of beautifully cut, freshly turned sod. The weather was lovely and I would imagine that the organisers would have been delighted with the turnout.

I have no idea how many furrows were cut during the course of the day, but there can't have been as many as have carved my brow today. I suppose that the software that drives this website is fairly 'intuitive', and in a few weeks, will probably appear simple. However, the first couple of days are a nightmare. Nothing works the way you expect it to, and I have had dead links and invisible content to contend with - further complicated by a keyboard littered with handfulls of hair, ripped out in frustration. Furrowed brow? Too right! And I feel like a bit of a freshly turned (earthen) sod myself!

Here are some more photos from the Epworth Festival of The Plough. There is also one of MBG. (Clue, she is NOT driving a tractor)
